“This is slightly irregular, isn't it? Some of these tasks seem really weird. Number 7 looks like it’s written in code and I’m pretty sure number 5 is illegal...”

Unearthed is a touching new comedy drama by Royal Court young writer Alys Metcalf directed by Kim Pearce (The Curious Incident Of The Dog In The Night Time).

The cast is lead by Lizzie Stables, a graduate of the Arc Theatre Trowbridge’s Youth Theatre who has gone on to study at Royal Central School of Speech and Drama and is best known for playing Chloe in The Inbetweeners.

Across five centuries of British history, small groups of children seek sanctuary in the same solid, old wardrobe. It's the safest place they know – but is it safe enough?

The Wardrobe is the newest play by National Theatre Studio resident playwright Sam Holcroft. It is a fresh and intimate tale of a 500-year-old wardrobe and the many children who visit it.

Sam rises to the exciting challenge of writing for young audiences and companies of performers by exploring subjects that have been constant across time and place.

Quilos and the Windmill are a pair of artist-explorers who, travelling light, use whatever they find on their journeys as starting-points for structures, images, words, sounds and performances.

The idea for these works in this exhibition began during a residency at Ox Bow School of Art in Michigan.

The making process is truely collaborative as each work is passed back and forth betwen the two artists until it comes to rest.
