We are Sian Midgley and Victoria Moore; two visual arts graduates who are passionate about finding time to develop simple and effective art skills to create exciting art work.

In a series of experimental workshops we will be exploring a range of techniques and material, using dyes, printmaking, textile art, decorative design and layers of colour.

Whether you are an absolute beginner, a student keen to broaden your skills or simply want to reawaken your creative side - do come and join us!

“Welcome to the concentration of camp.”  – Francis Bacon

“Life is just a game played out for no reason, so there is no need one shouldn’t try to achieve everything one wants. After all, life is nothing but a series of sensations. So one may as well try and make oneself extraordinary, extraordinary and brilliant, even if it means becoming a brilliant fool like me and having the kind of disastrous life that I have had.” – Francis Bacon

POINT OF ECHOES

Commissioned by the Rural Touring Dance Initiative, Warwick Arts Centre and Dance East.

The year is 1978, isolated from the mainland, Eric Valentine and Bernard Humphries have been stationed at Echo Point lighthouse, somewhere off the coast of England. The unlikely strangers have just begun to lay down foundations for this odd working relationship when the uncanny occurs.

“Making the choice to fight, even when you know you may not win”
Travel back to the early 20th Century and uncover forgotten history. Based on a true story, “May” has a unique take on the fight for women’s rights. Celebrate the 100 years since women gained the vote by meeting May Billinghurst, one of those who fought for it. In this brand new show, premiering at Trowbridge Arts, May’s story of love, loss and hope will change the way you see the early 20th century, and maybe the present, too.
