A programme of interesting events spanning the week. Elizabeth Snell will be at Trowbridge Town Hall from 10am on Monday 8th May.

Monday 8th Death Cafe - What is a death cafe?  At a death cafe, people drink Tea and eat Cake and discuss death.  It is not a counselling session but a place for people to share their experiences or ask questions of each other.  If you had an envelope containing the date and manner of your death would you open it? and such other interesting questions could arise.

We are holding 3 x 2 hour sessions 10.30-12.30, 2-4 and 6-8pm.  Please call us on 01225 774306 to reserve your place at the table or book online here.

Tuesday 9th  Ask the Undertaker - An all day pop in to ask the undertaker those questions we are often too afraid to ask... for instance is it really my ashes that are returned to my family?  The answer is yes, but please do come and meet Elizabeth and ask her any question you can think of.

Tuesday 9th Performance of Dying to Please You at 8pm - doors at 7.30pm a Town Hall Arts theatre event performed in the old Court Room. A dark comedy inspired by the personal journey through illness and subsequent passing of Tess’s late partner and iconic Bristol beatboxer, Vid Warren. More information and tickets here.

Wednesday 10th Wills and power of attorney, pre-payment planning and pre-planning (final wishes) for your funeral.  We will have a number of carefully selected representatives available to help you with any questions you may have about putting your affairs in order.  Once you have put them in order, you can forget them and get on with living safe in the knowledge that your family will know exactly what you need when the time comes.

Michael Rhodes from Goodwills will cover Wills and Power of attorney.

The team from Elizabeth Snell will be able to assist with prepayment and preplanning and final wishes

Celebrants Teri Stout & Hazel Mitchell and others will be on hand to discuss your funeral needs.

Thursday 11th Dorothy’s Tea Party fundraiser for Dorothy House.  The only day we will be asking for a donation in return for your coffee and cake!  We will have one or two "games" to raise money for this very worthwhile cause.

Friday 12th A film morning showing two short DVD films from Dying Matters called 'I didn't know that' and 'I didn't want that' - highlighting the importance of asking questions and making your final wishes known
