Price: Free - Donations invited
Company: Seam Collective

Afternoon tea with the Seam Collective artists.

Come and explore the work of these local textile artists. Have a chat with them over an informal cup of tea and take a bite of the art when we 'harvest' Penny Wheeler's Crop Dress which is busy grouwing a crop of sprouting seeds that we can cut and eat on the day.

This event is free and there is no need to book, but it would be great to get an idea of numbers so please RSVP to info@trowbridgearts.com or indicate you are coming on our facebook event.

Join us to celebrate 50 years of the shift dress. With Arts Council England, South Somerset District Council and SAW funding, nine textile artists/designers are creatively exploring their craft to showcase contemporary textile design with nine shift dresses.

Contributing artists/designers: Anna Glasbrook, Desiree Goodall, Anna Gravelle, Joy Merron, Angie Parker, Linda Row, Tabitha Stewart, Penny Wheeler, and Samon Yechi.

Exhibition dates: Friday 6 November until Thursday 24 December 10am - 4pm Monday Saturday (closed Sundays).
