This is a special event as part of the Festival to show the Town Hall off in a completely different light: Allunder1StarrySky.
This showcases Trowbridge Town Hall at night and will provide an opportunity to experience the building as you will never have seen it before.
Allunder1StarrySky will run from Thursday 22nd October until Tuesday 27th October, from 7.30pm to 9.30pm (excluding Sunday).
The windows in the entrance hall will be flood-lit from outside in Foyer Aglow to highlight the glorious stained glass which has been newly restored for the occasion.
Other exhibits include:
The DaDa Project an amazing sound and light experience, which incorporates a blend of down-tempo beats, ambient noise, old time radio recordings and real time sound created by effects and loop machines paired with a UV light show using recycled materials.
Bones and other Beautiful Things, Forgotten... is an extraordinary tonal score, poem, lighting and visual experiment located in the old boiler room in the basement of the Town Hall. This is a personal reaction to a place where history has been and then left to its own devices.
The UV maze, will be quite unlike anything you have seen before. It will intrigue and puzzle.
The Mad Hatters Tea Party will amuse, while the gloomy gallery will make you examine works of art more carefully.
A glowing expression of pumpkins, a moonlit knitted village, and teddy bears picnic will add to the sense of playfulness. You will have the opportunity to sense the past in the shadowy cellars, and be able to look out and view the magic garden.
There will be refreshments and a bar and all visual arts events are free.
