A darkend timeless interior is the starting point for many of the drawings, etchings and painted reliefs.
At first glance the colour appears sombre, but as its surface absorbs colour glows from within, it is the quality of light which holds the attention.
Within the layers both abstract and figurative images evolve slowly over time. In his final collages Bill includes fragile fragments of the human head.
