Whatever your drawing ability please do come and take part in this international event!

Whether you are an artist or just want to join in, please come and make a paper section which will be made into a 'Drawn Quilt' and have the finished work displayed in Trowbridge Town Hall and Sala in Sweden.

Workshops run from 2-4pm and 6-7.30pm on Thursday 22 October. Cost £5 (£4.99 if booked online).

Michele Whiting and Linda Khatir are half each of the artistic duo ‘Quilos and the Windmill’. Michele is leading a group from Trowbridge and surrounds who want to take part in producing the UK ‘drawn quilt’ which will be made up of 160 small pieces of paper which have been drawn while moving around Trowbridge Town Hall, and if the weather is with us around the town as well.

Linda is based in Sala in Sweden and her art group are going to be making a quilt made up of drawn panels by many artists and non-artists who want to be part of this creative process. The 'quilts' will then be shown to the public in both towns.

This workshop is part of the Trowbridge Arts Festival - find out what else is on in the Festival which runs until 1 November 2015.

Eleanor has created this site-specific new work for installation in the waiting room.

The monumental object and the room are integral to each other. The Waiting Room has reclaimed its original function. The structure is embalmed in wax, suggesting preparation for some ancient ritual. It sits within the silent room which has become a place of transition. Eventually it will cease to exist.

Exhibition Dates: Friday 8 January to Saturday 27 February 2016 10am - 4pm Monday to Saturday (excluding Sundays).

Evening view: Thursday 21 January 6-8pm
